Potash Exploration at Salmon Gums

Impact Minerals (ASX Code: IPT) Corporate Release - March 20th, 2026:

• Exploration at Lake Hope–Salmon Gums has uncovered significant sulphate clay deposits with high-grade compositions, supporting production of sulphate of potash (SOP) fertiliser and hydrochloric acid (HCl).

• Two lakes within the Salmon Gums Project hold an Exploration Target of 3.8 to 4.3 million tonnes of sulphate clay, potentially yielding 1.4 to 1.7 million tonnes of contained sulphate of potash. Additional evaluation is needed to assess hydrochloric acid output.

• Investors should be aware that the size and grade of clay deposits at Kumarl are conceptual, and no JORC 2012-compliant Mineral Resource Estimate has been established. Further exploration will determine if a Mineral Resource can be estimated.

• Early indications from surrounding lakes and the Lake Hope deposit hint at a significant presence of sulphate clays that could sustain long-term mining operations for potash and associated products.
