A recent feature by Mining.com.au highlights a significant breakthrough at Impact Minerals’ Commonwealth Gold-Silver Project in New South Wales, where drilling at the Silica Hill prospect has returned exceptionally high-grade precious and base metal intercepts. Results from the Kuniko-funded program confirmed bonanza-style mineralisation, including an outstanding intercept of 20,603g/t silver and 27g/t gold within a massive sulphide vein, interpreted as part of a feeder system with strong potential to unlock broader high-grade zones at depth; importantly, the discovery sits beneath a fault that had previously obscured the system, opening up a new and highly prospective exploration target and reinforcing the scale opportunity at Silica Hill, with a larger Phase 2 drill program set to commence in June 2026.
